Baileigh BS-24A Automatic Mitering Bandsaw

When looking for a production bandsaw, you must look at all the ways that the saw can save money over your current means. The BS-24A has been constructed using only industrial grade components and materials that will stand years of hard service in any demanding fabrication shop or factory.

The BS-24A is a 400 volt, three phase, fully automatic bandsaw that has an 18” round capacity at 90° but can mitre up to 45° if it is needed. A Delta® inverter drives an industrial sized 5hp motor in order to turn the massive 1.5” width blade. The inverter allows the operator to adjust speed quickly and simply infinitely between 65fpm and 279fpm. This adjustment ability saves blade life as well as increasing the quality of the cut.

Being an automatic bandsaw the BS-24A is at home cutting a single piece of material or complete bundles with its heavy-duty hydraulic bundling device that also acts as the feed system. The feed system uses encoders for precise material placement. Operation of the BS-24A is very simple and uses a mix of standard control knobs and buttons as well as a user friendly touchscreen programmer. The programmer lets the operator input things like cut lengths, number of cuts, and allows different settings for each program. The standard controls are for changing things like bow height, descent and blade speed. The BS-24A can be run in automatic and manual modes as well.
